Pouring Buckets !

As we walked to Old Town tonight for something to eat it was raining pretty hard and the wind was blowing !  So much so that the umbrellas didn't want to stay with us as we crossed the bridge.  Richard's got pretty beat up trying to turn itself inside out.  We thought we saw our boat come into harbour just before we left the Villa and took a photo of it from the terrace.  We recognized it because it has a mermaid on the bow.  We opted for a small outdoor restaurant  and had pizza, beer and wine which was delicious.  There is something about European pizza that cannot be duplicated elsewhere -- must be the cheese!  After dinner we were treated to two Croatian liquors by the restaurant staff -- a cherry liquor for the lady (that would be Louisa) and something called Slypovica (?) for the man (Ricardo).  It was kind of like grappa -- pretty strong tasting.  The cherry liquor (sherry basically) was a bit sweet but 'free' so it tasted lovely. lol

Poured very hard while were eating and on the walk back to the Villa.  But we are fed, happy, dry and warm inside #4 Villa Moretti and looking forward to tomorrow.

Thanks for checking in.
